Zoe Elizabeth Blackman

Zoe Blackman, a 25-year-old artist from New Jersey, creates an impassioned surrealist narrative focusing on the inevitable challenges of being human. Zoe has enjoyed a wide range of creative outlets since childhood. Her artistic pursuits can swing between : welding, furniture design, drawing, sewing, baking and painting. Painting has been a passion since she can remember picking up a brush. She currently focuses her attention to oil painting first picking up the medium at age 18.

Through her art, Zoe grapples with profound themes of grief and love, finding solace in the creative process and relief in the completion of her works. Her talent shines on virtual platforms like HMVC Gallery, where her pieces have graced the billboards of New York City in exhibitions such as 'Piece of Me,' with her upcoming participation in 'Girl Power.' In physical galleries, Zoe recently achieved success at the Allegany Arts Council in Maryland, earning the second-place juried award for her poignant portrayal of grief. She currently shows at ShockBoxx gallery in Los Angeles and Art Scene West in San Diego.
